Alan Brown

Originally from Glasgow, Alan has recently moved to the Capital and "The Informers" is his latest project.
Alan has played with many tops blues acts and has graced the stages of many international blues festivals.

"can hold his own with any guitarist you care to mention" Blueprint Magazine

Alan says:

"I am really enjoying playing with these guys. We can swing it, we can rock it or we can get down low and dirty with it. The way I see it is If I am enjoying myself the crowds know it and go home happy. "

Dave Swanson

Dave is a first class musician and his talent has made him one of the most sought after and well established drummers on the Edinburgh circuit.
He has played with such greats as Mose Allison and Georgie Fame. Closer to home, Dave has worked with Tam White, Alex Shaw and has recently completed an album with Freddie King.

James Cox

James "thunderpaw" Cox has been playing electric bass for over 16 years now, and continually enjoys laying down the groove behind any great group.

After hearing the genius of Motown bassist James Jamerson and stax legend Donald "Duck" Dunn, James was hooked on learning these great grooves and applying them to his own chops.

James has played on various tours and recordings with artists from all over Scotland, playing a mixture of pop, rock,funk, Irish/folk, jazz and Rhythm & Blues.
